Mini Sessions: What are they?
What is a Mini Session?
A mini session is exactly that! A miniature session! But what does that mean? Let me break it down for you!
What a Mini Session Entails
A mini session is a shortened session, created for customers to try out a new photographer! A lower session fee and package price are generally involved as well, but not to the point of making your photographer seemingly work for nothing! Below we are going to list exactly what our next mini session is going to offer our customers!
Session Time
Our next mini session is going to take place in November at Islip Grange Park in Sayville! We will have two consecutive days, the 7th and 8th to fit in as many sessions as possible! Each day will start at noon and continue until the sun goes down (about 5pm). This is going to be a standard mini session with no theme, although customers will be able to bring their own props if they are looking to have Christmas cards made! Each session is 20 minutes long and will be scheduled in 30 minute time slots, just in case we run over on one of the sessions.
The Cost
We start our mini sessions at $49.00 for up to 6 people. You can add extras for an additional cost of $9.99 per person. Once the session is finished, customers will schedule their order appointment and will be able to see the final images in an online gallery before arriving, so they can decide on which photos they would like to purchase. Digitals and prints can be purchased a la carte, or one of our four custom packages can be purchased, which tends to be a bit easier on the wallet. Pricing details will be given to each customer after booking their time slot via e-mail.
How to Prepare
Once you book your time slot, you will receive a questionnaire regarding information about your family. Questions similar to: How would you describe your family, what are the kids names and so on. This helps us stick to time constraints so we don’t have to ask which kid is which when trying to get their attention! Other than the questions, all you need to do is prepare you outfits. If you plan to have a theme within your group, plan it out accordingly. Stick to earth tones and attire without any busy patterns. We will send out some tips for this prior to the session.
