Learn Photography with Long Island Photography Studio

Hi There!

Are you a beginner photographer looking to step into the realm of starting your own side gig? Or even just learning as a hobby? Well, luckily, we have a solution for you.

See, when I took my first steps into photography, I never had anyone to learn from, so I relied on online courses, youtube, and learning from my own failures. It was a lot of grind work, and there is definitely a way around it. That is why we are starting both 1-on-1 Photography Lessons and Group Classes right here at our studio. 

What will I learn?

For our 1-on-1 sessions, we will evaluate your skill level, and from there, help you fill in the gaps where it is necessary. We want to teach you everything we know, so be ready to learn! Lessons will include but are not limited to the following topics: Exposure Triangle, Composition, Color Theory, Posing, White Balance, Off-Camera Flash, Natural Light, and more.

Our group lessons will be more of a broad topic, better built for your absolute beginners with little to no knowledge of photography. These lessons will be posted on our website and Facebook, so keep an eye out for them!

What do I need?

You will only need the camera you plan to use and its associated lenses to attend lessons or classes. Our studio is jam-packed with off-camera lighting, backdrops, backdrop stands, flashes, and more, so you will get to learn with professional-grade equipment that will work across any brand you walk in the door with! Please bring your camera and your creativity; we have the rest on hand!

What is the cost?

For our 1-on-1 sessions, the cost is $50 per session. Each session will last from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the topic for the night. The group classes will be individually priced and vary based on the topic and equipment needed for the night.

When can I start?

We will be starting our lessons and classes in January of 2021! Right around the corner! We are looking forward to helping our future creatives out in the upcoming year!
